OUR STAFF

Azalea Park Learning Center has a team of childhood educators who are professional, experienced and have a natural love for teaching children. We take time to choose teachers who are well-trained practitioners in early childhood. Our employee screen process generally covers:

  • Personal interviews

  • Degree/certificate verification

  • Criminal background checks

  • Reference checks with previous employers

  • First aid and CPR training

  • Job orientation and training

  • Ongoing education during employment

  • Ongoing performance evaluation

The owners of the school are Alan and Alison Petrie. They have owned childcare centers in the Orlando area for the past 25 years. They are proud of their connections with other owners and directors of local centers and willing to share their knowledge to help you choose the perfect school for your childcare needs. The capable teaching team at the school is led by directors, Ms. Adalina, and Ms. Ana and our VPK director Ms. Corina. They are willing to meet you at any time convenient to you to discuss any questions you might have. You will then know that you have chosen the right school for your child.
